    These days most websites get 50% of their traffic from a mobile phone. If your website is not responsive to mobile then, it won’t open on smartphone properly, and you’ll lose a chunk of potential regular readers.
  4. Use Long Tail Keywords
    This is one of the most ignored tactics but its extremely effective. Your rivals are probably ignoring longtail keywords which is why you should not ignore it. There are several paid, and free tool for long tail keyword search make sure you use it.
  5. Create High-Quality Content
    Nothing beats good content. You can never rank your posts on crappy content because the content is king right. While creating meaningful good content, make sure you are following rules for on-page SEO. There are plenty of free guides on on-page available online.
  6. Make Sure You Update and Republish Posts
    A good way to tell Google that you have a quality site is by updating and republishing a post that tells the search engine that certain information has been updated because of information change with time.

    If you are one HTTP, it’s a good idea to switch to HTTPS. As you may have realized by now that Google values sites that it can trust and https is a symbol of trust. You should definitely go for it.
  9. Create Social Media Profiles
    You need to be present in at least Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus. There are folks who believe the social media is too saturated to be useful. But don’t be put off by this. You need to experiment and see what suits you.
  10. SERPs Other Than Google
    Google isn’t the only search engine out there. You need to get on Bing, Yahoo, and other search engines to create an impact on your site and draw an audience.
  11. Voice Search
