Fact – The reason that this myth was born is that people tended to only focus on the expenses that a business incurs for hiring SEO services. Websites need to be improved in order to rectify defects such as poor design, weak structure, and baseless media. However, this merely involves touching up the existing content, and giving it a better shape, instead of redoing the work from scratch.
5. Myth – SEO is Constantly Changing
Fact – Although search engines change their search algorithms several times a year, these will not majorly affect your SEO tactics. Only a handful of these constant update make it to the market. The rest of the changes are so minor that the user does not even notice them in the first place. So the truth is, while SEO does involve several updates, a large majority of them do not require any kind of response or redesign from the website.
